In this post, we’ll explore 7 thrifted centerpieces that I hope will be inspirational for your Easter decor. From vintage baskets to fresh flowers from the garden, porcelain ducks and chicks, antique Bibles and vintage plates. Let me show you how I put mine together this year.

1. Vintage Baskets Overflowing with greenery

This is my collection of charming vintage baskets. Nestled atop a green gauze runner. These baskets, sourced from thrift stores, exude nostalgia and create a warm and inviting focal point for your Easter doorway entrance table. Mix and match different sizes and styles for a whimsical touch. The eggs(shoe shapers) are set inside a vase down in the basket along with faux greenery.

2. Fresh Flowers/stems from the Garden

What’s Easter without the beauty of fresh blooms? Head out to your garden or local flower market to gather an assortment of tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths. Arrange them in vintage vases. The natural fragrance of these flowers will fill your home with the essence of spring. These old wood and metal church bulletin stamps were purchased over 20 years ago at a church sale. They pair great with my green book collection purchased in England.

3. Quirky Ducks and Chicks

Add a touch of whimsy with thrifted duck and chick figurines. These adorable finds can be placed among the floral arrangements or perched on the edges of your table. They bring a playful element to your decor, perfect for capturing the childlike wonder of Spring. I purchased these at a thrift store and paired them with vintage children’s books. The blue ware was a family piece and comes in handy as a water like pond feature.

4. Vintage Bibles as Timeless Accents

Honor the religious significance of Easter by incorporating vintage Bibles into your centerpiece. Stack them artfully and place a small vase of flowers near by for an elegant touch. These cherished books add a sense of tradition and reverence to your Easter table.

5. Charming Vintage Plates for a Nostalgic Touch

Hunt for mismatched vintage plates at thrift stores, flea markets, or at Grandma’s. These plates, with their delicate patterns and aged patina, serve as the perfect base for your centerpiece. Use them to hold Easter treats like cookies or candies, or simply as decorative elements layered beneath your other items.

6. Vintage Linens and Lace

Don’t forget the importance of textiles in creating a cohesive Easter look. Opt for pastel-colored tablecloths or runners to complement your centerpiece. Lace doilies or napkins add a touch of vintage elegance and tie everything together beautifully. These fragments were found in a box at an estate sale.

7. Chocolate and Egg plates

Last but not least, no Easter centerpiece is complete without Chocolate and eggs! Whether they’re painted, dyed, or adorned with glitter, eggs are a symbol of new life and abundance. Place them in vintage egg cups, scatter them around your other decor, or even hang them from branches for a unique and eye-catching display.

Is there such thing as having too many egg plates?

Easter is a time for celebration, reflection, and creativity. By incorporating these 7 whimsical thrifted centerpieces into your home decor, you can create a warm and inviting atmosphere that honors tradition while embracing the joys of spring. So let your imagination run wild, hunt for those vintage treasures, and let your Easter tables shine with charm. I hope this inspires you to curate your Easter decor.
